Dungeons

The primary dungeons in Spirit World are roguelike, randomized pathways that lead to a difficult final boss. Each main dungeon features an entirely different cast of enemies, all of which can be collected and tracked in your bestiary. Preparation and skill are key here. You can only equip potions before entering the dungeon, so make sure to stock up and prepare for a fight. Most dungeons will likely require multiple attempts before they are completed. Don’t worry, dying in Spirit World does not reset progress. All dungeons are also replayable at higher and higher difficulty levels. Dungeons scale after each victory, allowing you to challenge yourself with stronger and stronger enemies.

Power Up Your Character

The primary dungeons in Spirit World provide short term power-ups to your character for each completed room. Increase your damage, hitbox sizes, speed, add elemental effects, spawn NPCs to fight with you, or increase your max health. By the end of the dungeon, you’ll be stronger and ready to try your luck against a difficult final boss.

Stock Up and Prepare

Potions can be equipped before entering a dungeon

You can only equip potions in your four Potion Slots before entering a dungeon, meaning you’ll need to plan ahead which potions you would like available to you during your dungeon run. Potions have a set number of uses, representing the number of times you can drink from that potion bottle. Higher grade potions have more uses than lower grade potions, meaning 4 basic potions give you 4 potion uses while in the dungeon, while 4 exquisite potions give you 12 potion uses while in the dungeon.

Replayability

All dungeons are replayable at higher and higher difficulty levels. Dungeons scale after each victory, allowing you to challenge yourself with stronger and stronger enemies. Some quests require you to complete higher difficulty dungeon levels to progress.
