Wilderness
The Wilderness in Spirit World is a unique type of region where death causes the player to drop anything they’ve collected in their current wilderness run. This means that anything you collect in the wilderness is at risk until you escape and return to a safe area. Currently, there is a single Wilderness — the Pine Canyon Wilderness — located in Riddler’s Peak, but there are plans to implement at least four more wilderness regions across the wider landscape of Addawatte. The current Wilderness does not offer PvP, but future Wildernesses will. The Pine Canyon Wilderness is the best location to mine ore, offering the fastest ore returns, and special mining boons that drastically increase your chances of securing rare ore.
Stay Smart, Stay Alive
The Pine Canyon Wilderness is a cold place. While in the wilderness, a cold meter will tick down every few seconds, visible in the top left corner of your screen. A fatigue meter will also tick down at a slower rate. Seeking refuge in caves or cabins will raise your cold meter to a set amount, though rarely back to full (except the Luxury Cabin near Pine Canyon Lake). Warmth potions and fatigue potions can each be crafted, which allow you to remain in the Wilderness longer. Staying in the Wilderness longer raises your mining speed and increases the chance of “Double Mining,” which provides two ore drops in a single haul. Stay aware of your cold meter, if you’re caught too deep in the Wilderness and you begin to freeze, you may not make it out in time. If you die, your loot will drop at the place of your death for 10 minutes. Make it back quickly, and you can recollect your things, but be aware — other players can also see and loot your corpse.
A Wide Area To Explore
